Synergy Art Foundation thanks CERF and Mike Sievers of Skutt Ceramic for their generosity February 2004 - After the initial fund-raiser to help artists who were deeply affected by the October 2003 fires in the San Diego area, Synergy Art Foundation is extremely pleased to relay the following heart-warming fact with respect to our continued support of these artists: We linked a non-profit organization in Vermont “CERF” (Craftsmen Emergency Relief Fund), with Skutt Ceramic, a well-known kiln manufacture, who, in 24 hours, donated a wall-mounted computer to Hans Tegebo. Hans had lost not only his studio, his home, and many pieces of sculpture, but also all of his glaze recipes. We thank Les Snow of CERF and Mike Sievers of Skutt Ceramic for their generosity. Acts such as these reassure us that compassion and goodness are alive and well.
